Long ago I realised that short stories are near impossible to get commercially published, so I put up an ancillary web-page so they'd get some sort of an airing.
BUT, if you're a damn-sight younger than me, and you have literary aspirations, I strongly suggest you plug on with this format as short stories are excellent for honing your skills, and if you can crack a competition or two with them, it looks good on your CV when you're chasing a publisher for your novel.
But I'm too old for that now, so this is where I put all of my short stories, for anyone who may want a read. And they're ad-free!
