"Scabbanalia"

For six decades - 1960s to 2010s - I've compulsively jotted down a variety of small pieces, not exactly poetry, not exactly microlit, just passing thoughts, images, events that sort of attach themselves and cry out to be "photographed". Not sure what other writers do but I always have - zip zip zip done, anything from 50 words to 200, whatever the moment requires.

They're quick and quite satisfying to do, but they tend to accumulate, and the question is - what do you do with them when you're nearing the end of your writing life? Couldn't bring myself to shred the lot, and at the very least they make a curious exercise in one person's ways of seeing things as the decades tick over.

I pulled out about a hundred, and Plan A was to put them up on e-Book as a freebie, but quickly realised that Kindle's (et al) format in hopeless with stuff like this, so putting them onto a dedicated website is Plan B. If you'd like to have a browse, this is the link...
