I love to hear about people getting away on their travels. Doesn't matter what the destination is, as long as it's somewhere "out there". Approached with the right mindset, travel is a balm to the soul, an adventure, and an endless source of discovery if you want it to be. And if it isn't it's just a waste of money. And travel with a close friend who loves what you love. And trust me, do it before you get old and tired.
I fell over this image the other day, a sunset over the Hebrides during our "gypsy" phase, when we did it in campervans, made me so nostalgic for our own travelling....
