Notions of God

 Notions Of God

Like height and weight and hair colour, the various notions of God (and God's entourage) that couples pass on down to their offspring are like gene-mix – they’re idea-mix – with each parent contributing something.

And this something is given into the heads and hearts and bones of their offspring as surely as any double helix of GCAT, providing healthy and unlimited possibilities for new combinations, for new ways of looking at the Great Mystery, and from novel angles.

And maybe – just maybe – one of them will at last even come up with a truly logical concept of the Vastly Unknowable or, at the very least, a design for God that doesn't require the wearing of peculiarly different hats, or uniquely blathering ways of saying thou shalt aspire to love life, and each other, and do no harm.
